Blog pages not showing up, 404 not found.

  • Hey Guys,

    I’m completely new to blogs, I downloaded WordPress 2.5.1 connected to my database and everything looks fine, but when I create a blog it shows up on my main blog page but when I click on it to go to the actual blog it isn’t there, am I suppose to somehow upload each new blog to my server?

    Notice I have one blog that’s called “testing” when you click on testing it goes here https://olieng.net/blog/2008/05/30/testing/ but that page isn’t present, is there something I’m missing? am I suppose to create those pages on my own or somehow this is all suppose to be automated? Thanks in advance if you guys could help me out.

    Okay it’s defiantly a permalink problem, when I use the default permalink my blog works, but Day and name, custom, and the others, it doesn’t work, any idea how to get my permalink to work with the others not just default?

    Ok got it working forgot to change .htaccess. w00t
