• Hello,

    The conundrum is this…

I have a static page at https://www.domain.com. My blog is at https://www.domain.com/blog

Obviously both posts and pages follow the specified permalink structure which I have setup as /%postname%/.

Everything works as expected until i navigate to an individual post within my blog. It too follows the rule of /%postname%/ by creating the URL https://www.domain.com/this-is-a-post/.

But I don’t want individual posts to be there. I want it to be within the blog directory at https://www.domain.com/blog/this-is-a-post/. In other words, a permalink structure of /blog/%postname%/.

How can i force a different permalink structure for posts only? I have seen several blogs that do this, it must be possible.

I would really appreciate any help.

    Tim
