Blog Plugin Not Working

  • Have tried 3 different blog plugins to create a page with short blog summaries linked to posts. None of the plugins take effect: default blog keeps showing up. Some plugins inject the shortcode, some I paste it; none works. Have tried setting the Blog post page and not setting it. Other plugins, like slider do work.
