• Is there a way to add authors to a blog post without creating new users? Or can we remove the byline that is automatically created when publishing a blog post to include the author in the first line of copy?

We have students help write articles for our website resulting in potentially 20-25 students each fall semester. We do not want to add them all in as users for just one blog post from each student. We want to be able to credit each student and allow them the opportunity to link to their post for their resume/portfolio if they wish. We do not want to create confusion for a reader seeing two different authors listed at the top of a blog post.

Any advice on how to best go about this?

@actionshopping might be a silly questions but where do I find the “Custom Fields” meta box? I don’t see that anywhere when I am creating a new blog post.
    Thanks!
