When I add a blog post with a podcast episode the custom field called enclosure is displayed on the blog page. How do I turn that off and instead display the excerpt? I don’t really want to display all the link information for where the file is stored on Blubrry. If I deleted the custom field than the podcast goes away.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Go to PowerPress >> Settings, Advanced Mode >> Feeds tab and make sure the “Display player / links: WordPress Excerpts” box is unchecked. If necessary, click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page and clear any site caches.

This setting is not in my Feeds tab when Advanced Mode is enabled. There is a checkbox under the Episodes tab that says “Display Player and Links Options” but nothing about excerpts. The box is unchecked.

In the Websites tab there is a checkbox in the Blog Posts and Pages area that says – “Display player / links: WordPress Excerpts (e.g. search results)” It is unchecked.

Cache has been cleared, still the same thing.

Sorry, my mistake. I meant Website tab, not Feeds tab.

    You can also try this:
1.) Log in to your WordPress site
2.) Go to PowerPress >> Settings, Advanced Mode >> Website tab
3.) Scroll down to the Having Issues? dropdown menu
4.) Choose the first selection in the menu and click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page
5.) If the player still isn’t displaying correctly, try the next option in the dropdown menu and save the changes again, cycling thru each option until you find one that gets the player to display properly

Thanks Shawn. I did all that and none of it worked. Any other ideas?

Another thing to try would be to go to PowerPress >> Settings, Advanced Mode >> Website tab and set the Display Media & Links option to Below Page Content, as it looks like your page here:
    https://millennialmarketingaz.com/blog/

Is pulling the very top of each post as excerpts. Since you have the media player at the top of each post, it’s taking the player code for the excerpt. Moving the player to bottom of the page may fix that.
