Blog Post Images
-
Hi! I just have a couple of questions about blog post images. I’m using the free Virtue theme for my online store.
I saw a question that was posted about 4 months ago about changing the image size in a blog post (I wanted to do the same, so this was good info. for me). They wanted to make the image smaller, as did I (mine was huge and played across the top, which distorted some of my photos). A WP volunteer told them to add CSS with their size.
My question is: why would you add custom CSS? Doesn’t the Max Image Height and Width (under your Post Options when adding the post) change the image size? That is what I’ve been doing. Maybe I need to add the custom CSS, though… Some of my images are blurry when I load them in. I don’t want them to all be horizontal. I want the image to be in the format that I have taken it. So maybe I should add the custom CSS to my Theme Options instead of changing the Max Image Height and Width in every post…????
I’m new to blogging and just trying to figure out the best way to add photos, etc. Thanks so much for any advice that you may have!
