blog post images not visible on homepage.

  • I don’t know if this has anything to do with the post limit plugin i have on my blog ( i get an error msg when i remove it) but my blog entries only display the text of the content not the images. Does anyone know what bit of code may be causing this or perhaps some code that may be missing. Any help would be much appreciated.

  • WHAT error message do you receive when disabling that plugin? Go in via FTP and rename that specific plugin or its folder if it has one and then try. Report back any error messages you receive.

    And since I left my Crystal Ball at the office, I really cannot tell you any more about your problem unless you provide a link to the misbehaving site.

    Hi I have the same issue

    Earlier the Error message looked like this: The uploaded file could not be moved to /home/s/subgrj/www/blog2/wp-content.

    I traced the problem to wp-admin > includes> file.php I changed the path :

    function get_temp_dir() {….

    …return ‘/home/s/subgrj/tmp/’;
    }

    However now the images are uploading but are still not visible in the browser (or in the dashboard)

    Help?

    did you ever find out how to fix this? i have the same problem. I’ve tried changing it to 777. but still nothing.
