Blog post links redirect me to my website URL

  • On my blog page almost all links redirect me to my real URL. For example if I publish a new post and then use myself to click the link to reply to it or read comments it sends me to my https://www.ulr? Please help . My permalinks are on default..
    Leechellephotography.com/blog

  • Did you move the WordPress install to this folder, or did you install it there to begin with? Depending on the answer, you may have to do one of a few different things.

    First thing to check. Go to Settings > General and take a look at your:

    • WordPress Address (URL)
    • Site Address (URL)

    They should both have this value: https://leechellephotography.com/Blog/. I suspect you may have left off the /Blog/ in there, which is causing all of your permalinks to get added onto your root directory, not the blog directory in which your WordPress install lives.

    Gotcha. Did you check the two values I advised (WordPress and Site Address)? Also, I just noticed that the url you listed above is Leechellephotography.com/blog (with a lowercase ‘b’ in blog), while the actual site lives at Leechellephotography.com/Blog (with a capital ‘B’). If they’re not already, you should make sure your URLs are consistent with the actual name of the directory in which WP is installed.
