Hi @justbruno,
So you’re right, there’s no post/page sidebar that goes beside the post content. The rationale behind this is that with the upcoming release of Gutenberg, the post content area, including sidebars will be controlled by blocks.
This is why we created sidebars above and below the post content. So that you can add widgets in those widget areas.
The other reason, is the design of the theme is following a stacked approach, rather than the sidebar approach. It’s a more modern way of design, however I completely understand the need and value of sidebars.
When Gutenberg rolls out ( it was supposed to be out by now ), Post and Page content creation in WordPress will change quite a bit, and we wanted to ensure that our theme is compatible from now, rather than wait, and force users to lose their widgets. We’ve actually already created a Gutenberg Blocks plugin (called Gutenblocks), which Buildr will be fully compatible with, and post sidebars in Gutenberg will be Blocks, not widgets.
Seeing that Gutenberg has been delayed, we are already investigating alternative methods of adding sidebars.
Let me know if you have any questions, suggestions or concerns. Also, if you can take a minute to leave the theme a review that would be appreciated.

We’re investing tons of time and resources into Buildr, and we want to improve the theme a lot moving forward, ensuring that it’s the perfect theme that users will utilize on all their websites, especially with the additional features being added to the pro version.
