Blog Post title different on blog vs. post page

  • In my stylesheet, I have the title of my blog posts set to all lowercase. In today’s post, I wanted to override three letters so that “the problem with rfps” read as “the problem with RFPs”. In the title field, I wrote
    The problem with <span style="text-transform: uppercase;">RFP</span>s
    which looked just fine in preview, and when I published, it looked fine in the single page as well as in the widget listing recent posts. On the main blog page, though, the title appeared as
    RFPs">The problem with RFPs
    I have since removed the code from the title, but I’d like to add it back if I could figure out why it’s appearing incorrectly on the blog page. I am using Thesis 1.7 as my theme (with a lot of customizations). Any clues on how to fix this?
