Blog Post Title gets replaced by the SEO Title

  • Hello. I am having problem with the Yoast SEO plugin. When activated, it replaces the normal post Title with the Meta SEO Title. I have the latest version of the plugin installed [1.4.19]. Tried tweaking all the settings but there seems no way to have the Blog Title prevail over the SEO Title on the post. Anyone know of a solution?

    Where you can see the Blog Post Title below the picture. However If you enter the post this title gets replaced by the SEO title.

  • I’m having the same problem!!! ??

    My wordpress site title is being put first then the page or blog post title in the google results even though it shows only the page or blog post title in the snippet preview of the plugin.

    Seems like it is doing a double title.

    Any assistance would be appreciated.
