• Since my site (www.tiger800rtw.com) was automatically updated to WP 4.5 yesterday blog content no longer shows in a browser for people browsing my site. The page showing the posts list and summaries does show but clicking on a post link, or going directly to the post, results in a totally blank page.

    To try and troubleshoot I tried the following:

    Disable ALL plugins
    Change to the “Twenty Sixteen” theme
    Clear browser cache and try different browsers (IE, Edge, Chrome and Firefox)
    Get a few friends to try from their device.

    All of the above resulted in being able to see posts (but not most of the photos as they are linked from Flickr via the now disable plugin so expected behaviour). This leads me to conclude that the issue lies in Customizr (I have the latest version installed).

    Any ideas on how I might fix this please.
    Thanks
    Steve

    PS after troubleshooting I’ve reverted back to Customizr and activated my plugins.

    OK, a couple of updates from me but blog posts still don’t render in the browser.
    Additional steps taken:
    1. Re-installed WP 4.5
    2. Deleted, re-installed and reactivated Customizr theme
    3. Cleared all caches on the server
    4. Looking at the DOM Explorer (out of my depth here) I see the following for EVERY blog post. Other pages etc. show a LOT more than this.

    <html>
    <head><head>
    <body><body>
    </html>

    I can see your blog posts (FF). Only problem is you’re not picking up FontAwesome.

    Try disabling Jetpack as that often causes problems (in the past anyway)

    So for me this link works https://www.tiger800rtw.com/?page_id=58
    That’s just a list of the blog entries with a summary for each, 10 posts per page.

    But this link doesn’t present anything at all, just a blank white page
    https://www.tiger800rtw.com/?p=1095
    That’s just a link to one of the posts in the first URL above.

    What do you see?

    The link to https://www.tiger800rtw.com/?p=1095 works fine with me.

    I can see your post
    Border crossing Mexico to Guatemala – Updated 18th March 2016
    with a map, four pictures, 150 lines of text and a comment from Mummy Fairchild ;o)

    But there are great differences between displaying in FF or in IE-11 or Vivaldi. FF seems to display what you intended.
    In IE and Vivaldi (I have not tried others) it is very clean, mostly black&white, the main menue and some other details (e.g. statistics on the left side) are missing. But header, text and pictures are shown. And mummys comment ;o)
