Blog posts loads slow on initial load

  • When I open a blog post that no one has open yet, it is really slow but when another user opens the post that I just opened they are really fast for them. Is there a way for the initial load of the posts to load fast as well?

  • It seems like the CSS file is extremely big for such a simple website.

    As far as the loading time, it loads faster on subsequent visits to the page because of the cached files. But on every first loading of the page (after you clear browser cache) it’s quite slow. Possible the server response time.

    Thanks for the reply. How can I reduce the size of the CSS file size?

    You can minify the file using online tools, but most importantly – find out if you need all of those stylings, and remove the unused parts.
