Blog posts not showing up as expected

Hello,

I’m using the “Snap” theme to create a website and I’m finding that my blog posts are not showing up on the blog page as expected. I used the theme customizer to specify my “News” page as the page I wanted for my blog posts.

Currently only feature images OR black boxes show up on this page — with no text. See https://www.cynthiadan.caroltompkinsdesign.com/news/. If you click on the images/black boxes, you do get the blog post but I’d rather have a normal looking/functioning blog page. Something more like what the demo site looks like:https://snapsdemo.wordpress.com/blog/
