• Hi,

I am using Genesis with the Brunch Pro child theme. I’ve added my first blog post, and the numbered list appears with no spaces between items. You can’t immediately see this by looking at my site, as I’ve used a fairly crude workaround (using paragraphs instead of a numbered list, then adding in numbers followed by … and turning two of the dots white so they do not show).

I have searched the help forum archives and I know others have had this problem, and I’ve found code in there that I can copy & paste in to the css. The problem is, I can’t figure out where to find the css. Instructions I’ve seen in the forums don’t match the options I have available in WordPress. I don’t know if this is because the instructions are over a year old and perhaps WordPress has changed?

I did try installing JetPack in order to edit css (this was recommended in help forum archives), and I can now find an ‘edit css’ page but it’s just one page. I don’t understand how this relates to individual pages I want to edit. I expected to be able to look at the css for any given page and be able to edit that. So, I want to change the css within blog posts to fix the issue with numbered lists, but there is just one CSS stylesheet editor with very little text in it. (I have read the getting started instructions from JetPack, but I’m none the wiser.)

As you may be able to tell, I am very new to this! I have spent a long time searching help forums/the Internet generally for answers but have ended up going round in circles, so would be hugely grateful for any help.

    Thank you
