My website(not completed yet) is a stock-image website where registered users can upload images. These images are recieved as posts(I used WPUF for this). But now I cannot get to display the recent posts(which are images) in my homepage(set to recent posts). It generally displays the post title and meta, but not the image content. But I need my homepage to have the images from all the recent posts. Can anyone help me with any plug-ins or edits in HTML/CSS of the page/theme? It’d be very helpful if you also mention some ways to get the same homepage(posts page) to have a masonry or even an ordinary gallery layout.
If I need to edit the HTML/CSS, then please attach the code and steps for the same because I’m not very familiar with the same.
The theme I’m using is ‘Astra’.
    Thanks in Advance!

  • Hi wpresstron,

    Thanks for using our plugin.
We are sorry that you had a problem while configuring it.
Can you please answer my below questions?
    1) Which shortcode are you using?
    2) Are you using the shortcode on the home page?
    3) Do you use Custom Post types to be displayed by the shortcode?
    4) Is these images part of the content or assigned as a featured image?

Also, it will be great if you provide the development site URL if you have one.

    Thanks,

    Thanks for replying.
I came to understand that taking the user-uploaded images as featured images rather than as the post content makes it easy to display them in the homepage. So I could successfully set the homepage up with a Masonry layout with Elementor, and its essential add-ons plugin. There’s one more thing I’d like to have support with: My website is: https://mental-miles.000webhostapp.com . I set the icon on hovering the images to a download icon, now I’ve to change the redirect link upon clicking on the image. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any option to change the link.
    The answers to your questions:
I’ve used WPUF shortcodes for Registration, login, as well as Account. I have not used any forms from WPUF on the home page and hence no shortcodes. The posts are such that it has a featured image, some tags and a title. And I display the featured image in my homepage.
    Hope you’ll help.
    Thank you

    Hi wpresstron,

I am glad that you figured out the featured image part by yourself.
And if you are using our plugin to display post featured image on post listing this link might help you.
    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/how-to-add-featured-image/
It will also contain information about how to customize the structure.

Also, the link you want to edit is a part of the Elementor structure and I am sorry to tell you that we can’t help you there. Though I have tried to find a solution.

    Thanks,
