Blog posts status&visibility

  • Hello all,

    I found the default “author” role cannot make a blog post private/password protected, and it seems only “editor” or/above can do so. Is there any flag to set permissions on blog visibility?

    My test showed that author can make the post password protected by default. There is no need in any additional permission. May be some plugins changed this at your site. Try to deactivate all plugins and make new test.
