  • Hello,

Does the issue still occur when following our Testing for conflicts guide?

Let me know and we’ll go from there. Have a good weekend!

    Hello,

I found out, that there is a conflict between the plug-in and my theme (GeneratePress) – but only, when I activate a special blog design (masonry OR columns) in my theme.

So therefore either the layout lacks or the events are missing in my blogroll…

Pls also have a look at: https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/sidebars-messed-up-in-blog/

Tom, the lead developer of my theme, is informed, too. Pls keep me updated…

    Best regards,
    Sven

    Hello,

I got answer from the lead developer of my theme. He wrote:

“GeneratePress [my theme] is filtering into the post_class() function (core WordPress) to add specific classes necessary for the layout in Masonry.

At first glance, blog posts added by the Events plugin aren’t getting all of the necessary classes through this filter. Perhaps this is something they have an idea about?”

    So I appreciate your answer!

    Best regards,
    Sven

Hi Sven. Thanks for narrowing this down and getting assistance from your theme developer.

The single event page does use post_class(), as seen at https://github.com/moderntribe/the-events-calendar/blob/4.1.2/src/views/single-event.php#L56

Are you talking about a different view, such as the Month View or List View custom post type archive views — or something else?

Don’t know why (at least I haven’t done anything to that), but that error has disappeared…

perhaps it was the stormy weather!
