Blog running slow

  • My blog is running incredibly slow. Even the log in page takes at least 4 minutes to pop up. I am wondering if it is a hosting issue or a blog issue?

  • Probably hosting.

    I can see it becoming a blog issue if you have a lot of content OR a plugin that fetches something from another site like twitter or facebook.

    Web pages are bad about that. If it’s loading your site, and it needs something from another site…and that other site is slow…your site can slow down.

    So it’s really hard to say.

    what would you consider a lot of content? I have a total of 132 posts, and all together 1210 images.
