• Dear readers,

I have created a (service) page with the url /services/business-photography. I have also created a blog article with the url /business-photography.

When I click on the blog and go to the correct url, I don’t see my blog article but my service.

How can this be? And how can I fix this?

In my dashboard at pages, the structure looks like this:

    Blogs
    Services
    Business Photography

    Home

So that’s okay it seems to me. In posts everything is just individually.

    /diensten/zakelijke-fotografie/

    shows the same page as

    /zakelijke-fotografie/

Even though they are both totally different pages. One is a service page while the other (without “diensten“) is a blog article.

Hopefully someone can help me with what is going wrong now.

  • Hello @digitalforge!

Have you checked your settings to see what you have added as the home page and the blog page?

In your site’s WordPress admin dashboard, go to Settings > Reading.

Then, next to “Your homepage displays”, select the “A?static page?(select below)” option. Then, choose the page you want to be your home page and your blog page.

When you’re done, be sure to save your changes. The button is at the bottom of this settings page.

Here’s a screenshot so you can see where I’m referring to in your Settings.

Let me know if this doesn’t resolve your issue.

    Best,

    Jenni
