Blog sidebar and contents suddenly dissappeared in internet explorer

    I updated my blog with a new post yesterday and all of a sudden it doesn’t function properly again on internet explorer. the sidebar has dissappeared along with my older posts..do you have any ideas as to what is wrong – it displays alright on other browsers.

    Thanks mate. I have had a look at your link above but it wasn’t the problem though. I have finally figured it out – instead of using the copy & paste tool on wordpress to import my post from microsoft word 07, i just pasted directly into wordpress hence the error. this has now been undone.

    yes – that’s what a lot of the errors referred to
    however, you have many unclosed tags and it is a matter of time before the site borks again

    I’m using WordPress Version 2.7.1. My web site is https://www.isaugusta.com. The right sidebar displays in Mozilla Firefox 3.07. It does not display in Internet Explorer 8.06 (nor IE 7).

    I’ve used validated the markup at validator.w3.org.

    What do I need to do to make this sidebar visible in Internet Explorer?

    Oops. Situation was much simpler than I thought. The last blog post I had contained some HTML that I pasted in there from an MS Word document. As soon as I removed it, IE read it fine.
