Blog Statistics Widget not updating

    The Blog Statistics Widget is not updating and keeps showing 50.362 on the front-end of our site, whereas the Jetpack Site Stats in the back-end is showing a higher (and correct) number of 51.980 hits currently. Clearing or deactivating the cache is not the solution. How to solve this?
