• I accidentally moved my blog in the general settings of the admin section…. I did the php thing and I re-uploaded all wordpress files… so now it semi-works. I can login to the admin section but it only displays itself in words, and I still can’t click on older posts without being given an error message. Also, after I re-installed wordpress, my header disappeared and I can’t get it to display again.

Looks like a permalink problem. This

    https://www.dharmabakery.com/blog/2010/01/23/a-cake-of-a-morning/

    does not work but this

https://www.dharmabakery.com/blog/?p=125 sends me to that URL.

    Try resetting your permalinks.

There is weird space around my header now. How do I get rid of it?

should I just delete everything and start anew? nobody seems to be able to help me… or maybe I’m just hopelessly stupid. Nothing works. I’ve been trying to fix this for days.

The links are working now but the dashboard still looks super crazy and there is still weird space around my header. Does anyone have the fresh header.php? Or can someone just tell me how to fix the header? And the dashboard…

Did you modify the default theme? Not a good idea, the next WordPress update will wipe out your changes.

Give this a read and copy your wp-content/themes/default/ directory to another location. Call that directory dina1

After you have done that and your edits are saved, re-upload the WordPress zip file. If your dashboard is still messed up, deactivate your all of your plugins and see if that works.
