Blog Subscribers not receiving a confirmation email

I have installed version 1.3.0. When someone subscribes to receive post notification they never receive the confirmation email. I have tried several of my personal emails and none of them receive notification.

I do show them as an unconfirmed subscriber in my dashboard.
