It seems your theme includes multiple sidebar areas, and the blog subscription widget might not have been added to all of them. Same seems to be true for some of the other widgets, like “Popular News” and some of your ads and sponsors widgets.

If you’ve added the Blog Subscription widget to all sidebars, but it still doesn’t appear, could you check the widget visibility options for each widget, and make sure it’s not set to only appear on some pages?

Let me know if it helps.

    Hi Jeremy,

Thanks for the reply. I can confirm that I’ve added the widget to all of the side bars in the template. The visibility settings haven’t been customised in any of the widgets so should appear for all pages by default.

Could there be any way that the theme CSS is preventing it from showing in certain instances?

    Thanks

It doesn’t seem to be the case. The widget isn’t even loaded on the page.

Are you able to add other widgets to this page, or is the Blog Subscriptions widget the only one that doesn’t appear when you set it?

Seems that no new widgets are showing up in the sidebar. I previously set up the sidebars successfully and the widgets I added originally are all showing correctly, but now if I try to add any new widgets they don’t show up.

It only seems to be affect certain page templates. I can still add any new widgets to the contact page for example, but the main page no longer seem to display new widgets.

    Any ideas appreciated.

    Thanks

Resolved. It was an issue with the way I was using the theme. Thanks for the help.
