Blog tagline displaying for meta descprtion on all posts

  • Site is displaying blog’s tagline for each and every post’s meta data. When I share on Facebook, or search on Google, the description snippet for all of the posts shows the blog’s tagline.

    I am currently using Yoast SEO plugin with %%excerpt%% for meta description template, and I change the title in he header.php file to <title><?php wp_title(”); ?></title>, so it should show article excerpt.

    Below is what the code from the theme’s header looks like. Any help on what to do would be greatly appreciated.
