Blog title changed with 2.8

  • The name of my blog is Syntium – The blog. However, with 2.8 it has changed to Syntium | The blog, in the header. I’ve tried to change it in the settings but it doesn’t work. Hor do I get the horisontal line back?

  • Try typing the ‘ – ‘ into the blog title in Admin/Settings/General. It looks like you have previously used an elongated hyphen or another non-standard character.

    I have tried that, it didn’t work. I don’t know if it is the font I use, same sign comes instead of ” and … But then again, it has worked before.

    Just re-checked and it’s the font. You need to drop both System and Fixedsys fonts from your stylesheet.
