Blog url different from WP install url

    Hello,

    I have this problem. I would like to run my WordPress MU blog at blogaddress.blog.domain.com. But WP multisite is running at https://www.domain.com. Is there any way how to change creating default address blogaddress.domain.com to that mention above? (under the “blog” subdomain”)?

    Moving a multisite install is a pain the tush. But you should be able to ‘rename’ the site for blogaddress.blog in the network admin -> Edit screen.

    Make sure your server supports sub-subdomains first.

    Ok. Thank you for reply. I’ve got good news everyone. It is possible. Also wildcards can be set only for certain subdomain, in my case *.blog.domain.com. I guess it’s good news especially for those who create subdomains simply by creating directories in ftp root.
