Blog visualised by unknow author

    Hi there,
    here’s my issue.

    In the ‘site stats’ area of my blog, I can see how many times my pages have been viewed by external users and, in the ‘author’ section, how many times I have visualised it (I am the only author).

    However, as of lately, in such ‘author section’, besides me there’s a new user called ‘unknown author’ (that’s the literal translation from Italian, which is the language I use on wordpress), which keeps visualising 2 or 3 pages a day, always the ‘about’ page, which I never open by the way, so that can’t be me.

    I haven’t accidentally created another author, of that I’m sure. So what about it?
    Did someone break into my site? That’s kinda creepy.
