Blog widget linking to wrong page

Does this happen with all plugins deactivated?

Just tried deactivating all plugins and it still does this.

Have you tried switching themes?

Does it happen with the default permalink structure?

every post link seems to point to the ‘about’ page;

Permalink setting was the one, for some reason it was set to custom. thanks!
