Blog with videos

  • Hi all

    I am very new to blogging and creating web pages. Hopefully someone can help me with the question I have.

    I would like to create a blog where I can post videos everyday. I will not be writing much. However, I will have new videos like 3 or 4 times a week. Each video will be around an hour long. I will be making videos by myself.

    Now, should I try to find a blog where I can post videos or should I post those on YouTube and just put the links on the blog.
    Does free blog given by WordPress or by any other company can help in this situation.

  • the easiest way would be to host on vimeo or youtube, then embed onto your blog.
    Else i think you would need to muck about with ffmpeg

    and dont forget the bandwidth issues, which is why hosting on a dedicated video service is much better

    Thank you for the reply. It makes sense.

    you have to do is just upload your video on you tube or any other site and embed the the video tou your site or blog.
