Blogg by email

I’ve been having a problem getting my blogg by email to work. I set up a secret email account with pop3 access, and filled in the appropriate boxes in the admin panel, but alas – despite several test run attempts, nothing appears on the blogg.
After a little searching here, I came across references to a ‘cron job’, and looking on MySQL Admin on my website, there’s a page for scheduling scripts.
Do I need to activate’ the wp-cron.php file in the MySQL Admin in order for the Blogg by email to work? I can’t remember there being any reference to this in the installation instructions. (But I may be wrong, I did drink nearly two bottles of wine last night… lol !)
