Blogger favicon on newly installed WordPress site

  • Hi,

    I recently switched my friend’s blog from Blogger to WordPress. I built the WordPress site on another URL and then when it was ready, I transferred her original domain name to a new host and then uploaded all the files.

    The site works fine and this is just a minor issue, but when I’m logged into her site, the orange Blogger favicon is showing. Any idea why that might be, and how I might get rid of this unwanted relic?

    Have you tried clearing your browser cache?
