Blogger Import Error

  • I am upgrading two blogger.com blogs to wordpress blogs. The first one imported perfectly. The second one, I pushed the “magic button” and it said importing…. 1/90, then went to add authors. Then no blogs appeared not even the 1/90. It seems so straight forward I dont know what to try? I exported from blogger.com to an export file which is formatted in “blogger’s atom xml format” and figure i could try and import it through a different method but how?

  • I’m having the exact problem. It hangs on the first record, doesn’t import it, and then goes right to the Author Mapping button.

    I exported my blogger blog into the Atom RSS format, and tried uploading it. WordPress replied: Are you sure you want to do this? And then had a link to try again.

    Any ideas anyone?

    Whats really annoying is that i have two blogs and the first one imported, and the second one didnt, then i erased both, now neither will import.

    Same problem here. I’m stuck at 1/94 posts.

    I’m glad to know it’s not just me, I can’t get it to import either, exact same error

    I’m also having this error. Anyone got a fix out there? Pretty please?
