    I recently tried to import my blog at https://jbrana.blogspot.com/ using Manage/Import/Blogger, but keep getting the error message:

    Trouble signing in We were not able to gain access to your account. Try starting over.

    My blogger account has been upgraded to the new google version. Has anyone had success with importing, and if so, any suggestions as to what might be wrong?

    I did some research and found a solution that works. In the wp-admin/import/blogger.php file, around line 84, change

    www2.blogger.com

    to

    https://www.blogger.com

    and you should be able to import your blogger posts.

    Thanks so much, this worked! I’ve been pulling my hair out trying to figure out why this isn’t working. I made the change to the blogger.php file as you recommended and now it’s working.

    Do I need CURL installed to use the ‘Blogger Importer’ module from WP 2.3? I have a fresh install of WP 2.3 using XAMPP and the this feature does not display.

    Any ideas on how I should proceed to migrate my Blogger posts to WP 2.3?

    i am trying this, checked the blogger.php file, it was set to www, so that is not the problem…. but when i try to import, it says connection timed out 110??? I have broadband, so I highly doubt speed is the problem, any ideas for this very new user to all this?
