• I am a newbie to Word Press. When I used the Blogger Import tool to import my blogger content, it imported everything back to March 2009. Everything else from March 2009 back to January 2008 did not import.

I read that if it doesn’t grab all content, I could run it again. It would not duplicate content. Well, when I ran it again, it imported a couple of new posts (since the last import), duplicated every other post it had previously imported, and still did not import anything older then March 2009.

I assume I will have to go delete by hand each duplicate post. But what do I do to import the rest of my content?

I thought this step would be simple, but it’s been very frustrating. Any help you can give me would be very much appreciated!

I fixed all of the duplicate posts, but can someone tell me how to get the rest of my content imported?

The Blogger Importer got everything back to March 2009. I need to import everything older than that, which I think is 26 posts or so.

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

A little disappointed that I got no help here, but I did want to say that I finally figured out the problem.

Apparently there is still a bug with the Blogger Importer Plug-in that has not been fixed.

The number of posts that would not import to WP was the same number as the drafts that were in my Blogger account. Once I deleted all drafts in Blogger, the other posts imported fine. However, all the posts that were previously imported also imported a second time~ so I had to delete 149 duplicate posts.

But I got it fixed~ finally.
