• Hi all

I asked a similar question a few years ago but still don’t have a solution.

I travel a lot off the beaten track on expedition trucks where there is no wi-fi. I try to write an article every day and include photo galleries and videos. When I got wi-fi land again, I publish all blogs.

Al least, this is what I’d like to do. What I actually do is write the text in Google Keep, organise pics into folders and then write the blogs when I have good wi-fi and access to www.ads-software.com webpage. However, this takes a lot of time and I often end up not bothering because I’m tired from travelling or I’m out sightseeing.

I tried WordPress.com Android app but this doesn’t seem to recognise the theme, CoverNews, I use in WP.org site. It turns a lot of galleries into garble and messes up the site badly.

Can anybody recommend a work-about to allow me to write complete blogs offline on my phone or tablet?

    Thanks all

Take a look at LocalWP or DesktopServer. They both allow you to run wordpress locally on your own computer. Also look at a plugin called Airplane Mode, which makes it work offline better. Then when you get back to wifi you’ll need to figure out how to copy those posts to a live server, but they’ll be WordPress posts already, and that’s a big step.

    Thanks for your comment.

I should have mentioned it before but I do all my writing on a Galaxy tablet. I currently use Tab S6 Lite life as my only computer. I had a look at some of the services mentioned above but they don’t seem to work on Android

I wonder if anybody could suggest something I might be able to use on my tablet and write www.ads-software.com blogs while covernews theme and making galleries with SimplyGallery

    Thanks
