Is it actually in the media library?

Yes the image I am wanting to use is in the library and I am referencing it using the img tag src.

The one that it is stuck on <img src=”https://www.livepainfree.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/product-ad-2-e1361868699703.jpg”&gt; no longer exists in the library.

If you put that file path in a browser it won’t show that image… so something isn’t right with it.

Can you try just re-uploading it?

I have edited the image to make it a lot smaller and uploaded it into the media library and then I copied the url path and checked it is the same url but it still is stuck on the missing file path.

That’s not the same image code that’s in the widget – this is copied off your site:

Do you, by chance, have caching on your site?

Not that I am aware of………I am helping a friend with this siste.

As I changed the image src to point at the new image it should ahve upddate and show https://www.livepainfree.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/painfree-e1375060487965.jpg but it will not update outside of the dashboard.

703.jpg is not anywhere in the media library.

I wouldn’t expect it to be. But that file path IS in the text widget.

So it sounds like the problem may actually be that the text widget won’t update? Do other things update okay?

Try inserting that image code in a post or page.

I changed the header image and that changed as desired and then I changed it back to the normal image without any issues. Just can not get the widget image to change.

I assume you’re clicking Save on that widget? (Just had to ask ?? )

Have you tried adding another widget to the sidebar just as a test?

If all that’s failed, the standard troubleshooting steps are to deactivate all plugins to see if any are causing that kind of problem.

Yes I have clicked on save multiple times.

I shall give that a try. I was thinking of deleting and re adding the sidebar widget as it seems to be stuck.

Seems like you have Caching enabled on your site. Empty the cache.
