blogpage showing 5 excerpts of posts with a sidebar

Default theme does this…have you reviewed using it and a Child Theme?

Hi thanks for reply, we tried using default template, showcase template,and one sidebar template. we need a blog page showing “5 excerpts
+sidebar”. i think feature of both that is showcase template and one sidebar template. we are trying creating template for this. any simple idea or help.

What theme are you using?
