• I’ve followed the F8 instructions below and still have my images being stretched.
    Can anyone help? https://formpig.com/blog/category/architecture/

    Thanks,

    Jonathan

“F8 is a 950px wide, one or two column theme, depending on options you have chosen. We need to set up your default image and thumbnail sizes to allow for easy posting and consistent design structure. Click Settings – Media.

Set your thumbnail size to 310px wide by 150px tall.
Set your medium size images to 590px wide. Do not set a height.
Set your large size images to 950px wide. Do not set a height.”

  • The images being used are all the standard WordPress thumbnail size of 150×150

    interior-copy-150×150.jpg

    kunsthaus-fab-copy-150×150.jpg

    100-11-ave-n_nouvel-150×150.jpg

So they are stretched to 310.

Did you save the changes on the media page before you exited.

You may need to edit the image thumbnails.

Michael, how do I edit the image thumnails?

    Hi Michael and Esmi.

Thank you so much. Can someone please tell me exactly how to fix this?

I have downloaded the regenerate thumbnails plug-in and have been trying various settings in the SETTINGS> MEDIA section of wordpress. I then run the regenerate thumbnail plug-in and these images are *always* stretched.

There is nothing I have been able to do – no combination of settings for THUMBNAIL (i.e. 150px no height, no width and 150 height etc. etc. etc) – that stops these images from being stretched.

This is really problematic for my site and I have been trying to troubleshoot what appears to be a bug for two weeks now.

    Thanks,

    Jonathan
