Blue cross icon missing from sidebar

  • In the lefthand sidebar there is usually a blue cross icon that marks the page the visitor is currently on. e.g. if there is a page called ‘Cafe Menu’ and it is currently being visited by the user, then there will be a blue cross icon to the left of the text ‘Cafe Menu’ in the lefthand sidebar.

    If however the home page is set up to display the latest posts then the ‘Home’ text does not have the blue cross next to it when the home page is being viewed.

    When I look at the demo of your theme it works, i.e. the home page of your demo shows the blue cross when the home page is being viewed. The HTML Browser Inspector (in Chrome) shows that there is a missing ‘::before’ in the instance of the home page being setup to display the latest posts.

    This hints towards a coding issue rather than a configuration issue.
