Blue Host wordpress log in not working

  • I’ve just set up a new domain and hosting together with a new wordpress account. I have just pointed to the correct name servers (hope thats the right terminology!) for my hosting to point to the domain. It looks successful. Then, I went to the site to try and log into wordpress… none of my log ins are working AT ALL!! Its crazy! Plus I can’t even do the ‘forgot password’ option.

    I logged in on wordpress.com and even changed the password. I am able to log in and edit my site on the regular wordpress site but not on my new domain.

    Tearing my hair out here!

    First, it can take anything from 24 – 72 hours for DNS/nameserver records to fully propagate if you’ve just purchased or transferred a domain name. Second, different networks will update at different times during this period, so you may need to get in touch with them for more details.. That is, bear in mind that just because one provider has updated their records, it doesn’t mean that another will.
