    Hi!

Okay so I have searched through the forums to try and solve my problem but I cant seem to figure it out.
I am new to wordpress and am seriously struggling. I wanted a site to have a blog while I travel and I didn’t realize it would be so complicated! I thought I was pretty good with electronics and computers until I decided to create a website and it showed how clueless I am.
I read the other forums and there is an answer for my problem but I just don’t know how to do what they are saying to do. I need step by step instructions (Im so sorry).
So, now to the actual problem. I try to post an image on a page or post and it shows up in the white box but once I look at my actual page the image doesnt show up. It is a tiny blue question mark. If I click on the picture it opens in the full size on another page.

When uploading the picture I simply click on the upload media and then upload it from my iPhoto on my Mac laptop.
Here is one of my pages and what it looks like:
    https://embracetheuncertainties.com/?page_id=11

I dont understand what plugins are or how to use codes so maybe that is my problem but its very hard to have a blog with no pictures!!

    Thank you so much!!!

Unfortunately that is not the picture. I sent the wrong link!

That is the correct link with the little blue question mark.

I don’t see an image on the links you posted.

The theme you are using is by https://themes.bavotasan.com/

This forum is for general WP questions.

    Please ask the theme developer.

It looks like the theme itself is handling images in a different way than a WP core theme would (like TwentyTwelve etc).

I say this because I could not see your header image until I enabled Javascript in my browser on your site.

Try switching to a standard WP theme as a test and seeing if you have the same problem.

I wonder if it is your Jetpack Photon plugin. Your image is appended with the cdn prefix that is served from Jetpack/Wordpress.com and is supposed to return your images faster. Many have had issues with it resizing and serving of images and it may conflict with something else. Even deactivating the Photon plugin may require you to rename that image to have it served properly. You might check the Jetpack for .org support forum.

The picture you want is here
    https://i0.wp.com/embracetheuncertainties.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/IMG_1890.jpg

    The link shows it as
    https://i0.wp.com/embracetheuncertainties.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/IMG_1890.jpg?resize=-30%2C-40

You should check how you added that to the contact me. If through your theme then, like wpfan1000, suggested you need to contact the developer for support. That would be at https://themes.bavotasan.com/support-forum-access/

If you use a commercial theme or plugin and need support, please go to their official support channel. In order to be good stewards of the WordPress community, and encourage innovation and progress, we feel it’s important to direct people to those official locations. Doing this will provide the developer with the income they need to make WordPress awesome.

Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme or plugin is not working properly. This is one other reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product.
