• Anyone run into this before?
I installed the BlueBlack theme successully. Works perfectly in one system (IE7 WinXP) and works fine on my sisters Win2000 IE6. The problem comes in on my system (Win2000 IE6-Same as my sisters). I can move the mouse anywhere in the heading and down into the right sidebar. If I move the cursor outside the right sidbar, or up over the menu buttons at the bottom of the heading, or over into the middle column, everything but the blue header disappears and the screen turns black. If I move the cursor from the heading down into the “left” sidebar, everything but the header also disappears. Only after I move the cursor back up into the heading, or over to the right scroll bar, or down into the windows task bar will the left, middle and right sidebars return after a slight delay (4-5 seconds). I have disabled theme-switcher, whos-online, wp-clean-archives with no change, set IE6 security to med-low, turned off firwall and Norton, turned off popups with no change..

Periodically the menu buttons will not cause the screen to blacken, and when clicked, will flash the blog briefly, go off, then display the page. Move the cursor down and the screen again blackens.
    It’s giving me fits.

  • Sounds like an unclosed tag somewhere but without a link it’s hard to say.

Remember it’s only happening in IE6 on my machine, but seems to be ok so far on another machine also running IE6.
That’s what I can’t understand unless something is different about the IE settings, or?

Wow -color me stumped. I tried it with IE6 on my pc running XP 2 and on my wife’s laptop in IE6 and Win 2000.
Looked great on both and it passed validation, so no unclosed tags.
Try doing a hard refresh on your browser at the home page.
Ctrl + F5 on keyboard at same time.

Also if that doesn’t help maybe compare javascript settings on the differing browsers.
