  • I think what they probably meant is that they don’t provide assistance with WordPress. (The word support has two definitions: to bear the weight of, and to give assistance to. When a web host is said to “support WordPress”, the first definition is usually the intended meaning behind the phrase.)

I tell you something: some hosts are very knowledgeable with WordPress and some not. If they are not they say they don’t support WordPress (related questions or problems). At the end of the day is not their business to answer script specific questions unless they are related to the hosting of that script.
Many of the staff over there would be able to troubleshoot .htaccess problems but if you ask about plugins conflicts and themes they might walk away from the problem.

@razzbender what is your domain name and issue? I know the Bluehost guys and gals very well, I host a lot of my personal WP accounts with them. Honestly imho they are the best WP host out there for the $.

They have a lot work put into their systems to make WP run awesome, with the automatic installs, updates, and the fantastic support team there I am sure this is just a fluke.

Let me know what the issue is and I will do my best to help, even better look at their helpdesk Click Here it has a ton of WP specific help issues, if it isn’t there it is probably on the Codex Click Here. If it isn’t there then respond with the issue.
