• Okay, so I’ve spent several days scouring every support thread I could find about BlueHost and shared SSLs and I still can’t figure this out. Some people say they can use it, some people say they can’t. I figured I would take a stab in the dark and see if any one has a solution I can use.

I would like to secure a form for the non-profit site I’m working on. All of my wordpress files are located in a sub-directory right off the main directory.

Attempt 1: secure.bluehost.com/~username, (port is empty), force SSL exclusively, proxy no. Result: 404 error on the page I want to secure.

Attempt 2: secure.bluehost.com/~username/sub-directory/, (port still empty) force SSL exclusively, proxy no. Result: My theme starts to build (without any CSS) and says the page doesn’t exist (which it does).

I have nothing in domain mapping and nothing in the URL filters.

Am I missing something or should I just throw in the towel and accept that I’m not going to be able to use shared SSL with WordPress?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
