I purchased a template today and installation failed saying there was no style.css. I unzipped to see and the style.css file was there….
thoughts as to how I get this installed or why it fails?

  • I am too having the same problem with another Premium template !!…

Most probably the theme is not compatible with the WordPress version you are using, I’ll suggest you to contact author of the theme for this information.

Actually all the premium themes got this problem … i have tried many premium themes..
the simple and boring theme works well..

But whenever i try to upload a premium theme, i get a error for sure !!

Thanks for your replies. I’ve never had an issue with a premium template before (out of 2 or three I’ve tried). I just upgraded my wordpress tho. I installed it manually but the style sheet is not behaving as it should. It’s minor – it puts lines across the headline tags on new pages…I will have to investigate but still a pain. ??

The link is https://www.wgoprinting.ca if you click on a page, you’ll see the error. I like the line on the side of the headline text but not through it :/ Any ideas on a fix are welcome.

Well i am myself very new to this wordpress thing !!

But i guess we can help each other wih exchange of our experience with wordpress !!
