Hi, if you open my website from mobile, the images you will see are so blurred after the recent update of Ewww.

When I de activated the plugin, my image result becomes good on mobile devices. This happened in the last 3-4 days, before that everything was normal. I didn’t change anything. I have had this Ewww plugin from the last 3 months. But everything was fine.

But now the images seem so blurred. What is an issue going on?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello,

Whenever there are blurred images it’s almost always an instance of a scaling issue. Can you check if disabling lazy load in our plugin fixes it (our lazy load helps with automatic scaling)?

Also, it looks like you are serving content via Stackpath’s CDN… do you have anything else doing image optimization? A conflict could cause something like this.

Okay let me try be activating plugin again and turn of lazy load option.

And yes i am using Stackpath CDN.

But as i told this issue arisef 4-5 days ago.

I am using Stackpath from 3, years, as well as i started using Ewww from August 2022.

But this image blurred problem arised few days back. Mayne after the ewww Plugin update,

i have turned of lazy load
can u check if its blurred, because there are two different results.

    1) from Desktop is different
    2) From Mobile its different

    the Mobile one is blurred.

So if i de activate ewww the image becomes fine.

Suggest me. Disabling Lasy load and de activating plugin both have samw results?

I checked on iOS and Android, Safari and Chrome, and both of them looked fine to me. Without seeing the issue in action, it’s hard to say what could be happening. If turning off our lazy load seems to fix it, then my guess would be that it’s a conflict. Does your theme produce a different site when viewed on mobile (and is it adding lazy load to that)?

yes my theme is Newspaper Tagdiv. It has also option of lazy Load

But turning Lazy load option off in ewwww didn’t solved Problem. the problem solved only when i a de activate ewww

Have you checked in an incognito window (when you aren’t logged in)? It doesn’t make sense that EWWW would be affecting your site as the only thing that really would touch it would be Lazy Load (or WebP – are you using our WebP delivery)?

I see WebP currently being served on your site. You must have something else that is doing the delivery of WebP since you don’t have our plugin running. There are only two things that can affect the displaying of images on your site from our plugin, Lazy loading and WebP delivery. If you already have something doing WebP delivery, it is possible that the two are in conflict as they fight over serving them. That having been said, since you already have something delivering your WebP images, you don’t necessarily need our plugin to also try to do it. And since it seems to be creating a conflict with something in how your mobile is setup, it may be best not to use it.
