Blurry image

I have tried a few things but nothing seems to work.

What have you tried?

Plugins;
– Simple Image Sizes
– Smush
– ImageMagick Sharpen Resized Images

the code (add_filter(‘jpeg_quality’, function($arg){return 75;});) (from this post https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-increase-or-decrease-wordpress-jpeg-image-compression/ ) doesn’t seem to do anything.

Any tips?

the image I have uploaded is pixel perfect on my computer but somehow wordpress compresses it.

I meanly need the front/slider image to be perfect.

WordPress doesn’t re-compress your uploaded images. The originals are always stored unaltered. The slider mentioned above: is it a plugin or part of a theme?
