Thanks for posting and thanks for the link. It helps.

If you are using the Settings in the Team Rosters admin screen, those aren’t working quite right for different aspect ratios, bit if you are using a 1 to 1 aspect ratio and uploading an image around 100px – 150px, it should not blur.

From inspecting your page, it looks like you uploaded an image that’s 150×150 (??) and are trying to display it at 138×152 (??). That’s going to blur. Don’t change the image aspect ratio. I recommend keeping both upload and page square (1-to-1) for best results.

Hello Mark, your plugin is really good for what I need (expecially the csv import function) but I have the same problem with the profile pictures. I tried to set the picture 350x350pixels because I need it bigger, so I loaded a square image with the same ratio (I did an image exactly 350×350 and I tried even with a bigger one like 750×750) but the result is exactly the same. The image looks like a 100×100 pixel image stretched to reach 350×350. I tried also a rectangle and not a square image but it is stretched the same way. I’d absolutely need to solve this and to understand why this thing is not working because I’d love to publish my teams on my website. I attach you a link in which you can see what I’m talking about even if this will be not the same website I will have to work on.

    Hi Alberto,
Thanks for posting. Your post reminded me of the intricacies of the WP Media Library. Normally, when you upload an image, three image files are actually saved (in wp-content/uploads). The sizes of these images are determined by the settings on the admin -> Settings -> Media screen. I’d have to look at your settings to see exactly what’s going on, but for example, if your thumbnail is set to 100x100px, and you upload a 350x350px image, you will see exactly the same results that you describe, despite what I said above. It’s really a bit of a pain, but it’s the way WP works. Thanks Mark for your quick reply. I tried to change the image settings of my theme and now it looks ok.
The posts you suggested me are really interesting.
